Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PetCareGO mobile application and related services (the "Platform"), operated by [Company Legal Name] ("PetCareGO," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use PetCareGO.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

4. Roles on the Platform

4.1 Pet Parents

Pet parents may create pet profiles, browse approved service providers, book services, pay through the Platform, and leave reviews after completed bookings.

4.2 Service Providers

Businesses may submit a registration application, including business details, location, gallery, working hours, and certificates. Applications are reviewed by PetCareGO administrators and may be approved or rejected at our discretion. Approved providers' services and pricing are configured and managed as described in the Platform.

4.3 PetCareGO's Role

PetCareGO is a marketplace that connects pet parents with independent service providers. We do not provide pet care services ourselves. Service providers are independent businesses, not employees or agents of PetCareGO, and are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and delivery of the services they offer.

5. Bookings, Payments, and Cancellations

  • Bookings are created by selecting a service, optional add-ons, and an available time slot, and are confirmed upon successful payment.

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a booking, you authorize PetCareGO to charge your selected payment method for the total booking amount.

  • Booking status follows the lifecycle: pending → confirmed → in progress → completed, and may be cancelled while pending or confirmed, subject to the applicable cancellation policy shown at the time of booking.

  • Refunds, where applicable, are processed back to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

  • PetCareGO may charge service fees; any such fees will be disclosed before you confirm a booking.

6. Reviews and Conduct

  • Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with a completed booking and must not contain false, defamatory, or abusive content.

  • You agree not to use the Platform to harass, defraud, or harm other users, or to circumvent bookings or payments outside the Platform.

  • We reserve the right to remove content or bookings, and to suspend accounts, that violate this section.

7. Service Provider Obligations

Service providers agree to:

  • Provide accurate business, service, and pricing information.

  • Maintain any licenses, permits, or certifications required by law to offer their services.

  • Deliver booked services safely and as described.

  • Comply with applicable animal welfare, health, and safety regulations.

PetCareGO reserves the right to suspend or remove a provider from the Platform for violations of these obligations, complaints, or failure to maintain approval requirements.

8. Intellectual Property

The PetCareGO name, logo, app, and related content are owned by PetCareGO or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." PetCareGO does not guarantee the accuracy of provider listings, the availability of services, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. PetCareGO is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or quality of services provided by independent service providers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PetCareGO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or services booked through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or as required by law. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time through Profile & Settings or by contacting us.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of PetCareGO after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
